PFAS - forever chemicals

PFAS are eternal pollutants present all around us: in our rivers, in our gardens, in the eggs of our chickens and even in our hair.

They favor the appearance of cancers, obesity and diabetes, are endocrine disruptors and affect fertility and fetal development.

Accidentally discovered in the USA by researchers in 1938, these chemical elements have very strong carbon-fluorine bonds making them very resistant to heat, chemicals, water and biological degradation. This extreme resistance has pushed companies to use them everywhere: in non-stick pans, in lipsticks and even in waterproof jackets.

Our new campaign will aim to inform the population and encourage public authorities to make decisions on these subjects and to place standards and limits on the use and discharge of these eternal pollutants.
