Fair Fashion
The fast fashion industry is killing and destroying our environment. It endangers the health of entire populations and this is rarely seen in our country. We had to wait for disasters such as that of Rana Plaza (1,135 dead and 2,500 injured) in Bangladesh in 2013 for us to realize that fast fashion kills. This building actually housed workshops working for H&M, Zara, Mango and Primark, among others.
The abuses can be summed up in a single sentence: "Behind a three-euro t-shirt, it is impossible to pay textile workers correctly, to use materials that do not pollute ecosystems and to prevent this t-shirt from ending up thrown away, buried or incinerated after just a few uses because it is of poor quality."
The objectives of the Fair Fashion campaign are to raise public awareness of these abuses (actions during sales) and political pressure to express the desire for structural changes so that these brands stop working with total impunity.
