Clean Industrial Deal

Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has proposed the Clean Industrial Deal (CID) one of the main priorities of her second mandate, just as she made the Green Deal one of her first mandate.

The CID is a key European Union initiative aimed at decarbonizing industrial sectors while strengthening their competitiveness on a global scale.

Gray areas should attract our attention. Where will the funding go, towards which industries or techniques? And what are the concerns about employment?
